Therefore, the visitor / user must carefully read these terms before using the services of the website and if she/he does not agree, she/he must not use the services and its content. The visitor / user is kindly requested to check the content of the terms of use for possible changes. The use of the website www.marti.gr even after any changes means the unconditional acceptance of these terms by the visitor / user.

Our mission is to provide the best possible service to our customers. This e-shop enables both our customers and all Internet users to be informed immediately about the products offered by our company, as well as to make their purchases electronically.

DECLARATION OF PERSONAL DATA PROTECTION

In order to carry out any transaction through the online store of our company and to order our products, the disclosure of some personal data of the customer will be requested. When placing the order, you will be asked for the full name, the shipping address of the products, the billing address of the order (in case it is different from the shipping address), the invoicing details (in case an invoice payment has been selected), a contact telephone number, your e-mail address and in some cases, where payment is made by credit card, the number, the expiration date of the card and the three-digit security code.

CAN MY DETAILS BE DISCLOSED TO THIRD PARTIES / OTHER COMPANIES?

Your data are processed by our company in compliance with the implementation of the EU Data Protection Directive 1995 (DPD), as well as the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) with effect from 25 May 2018. The products available for sale, their characteristics, the prices and their availability are pointed out on the website www.marti.gr and accessible to everyone. The users can learn more information for each product by clicking on the picture of the product itself.

Our company guaranty to keep its clients informed about the availability of the products, but bears no responsibility about the availability of them.

Our company makes on a daily basis every possible effort to provide all the required information for each product (technical characteristics, prices, etc.). However, in order to avoid possible mistakes, we would recommend that before the submission of your purchase, you contact us if you realize that the prices or any other feature of the product is beyond the usual and reasonable.

The prices listed in the catalogs next to each product, there is the price which includes the current VAT. In some areas of Greece for which reduced VAT rates apply and as long as you request an invoice  for your purchase, the prices of the products are lower than those listed due to the reduced VAT.

Our company reserves the right to adjust the prices of its online store, without being obliged to inform the consumer public.

PRODUCT ORDER AND CONSUMER PROTECTION

Orders through the online store www.marti.gr are concluding contracts for distance selling, which are governed by the legal framework of Law 2251/1994 (as it is valid today) and the amendments referred to in Presidential Decree 131/2003 (Government Gazette A ‘116 / 16.05.2003) and Decision 31619 Government Gazette 969 / 22.3.2017 as well as the adaptation of Greek legislation to Directive 2011/83 / EU of the European Parliament and of the Council of 25 October 2011, on consumer rights, amending Council Directive 93/13 / EEC and Directive 1999/44 / EC repealing Council Directive 85/577 / EEC and Directive 97/7 / EC of the European Parliament and of the Council, published in the Official Journal of the European Union, number L 304 of 22.11. 2011 as it entered into force on 13/06/2014.

ORDERING THROUGH THE ONLINE STORE

In order to place an order in our online store, the followings are required:

  1. Filling in the special form with the necessary information for concluding the sales contract.
  2. The unconditional acceptance of the terms of the contract of sale and the terms of use, in particular the collection and where required the use of personal data.

In all the pages of the online store www.marti.gr and next to each product available for purchase, there is the button to add the product to the shopping cart. Navigate to our online store and add to your cart the products you wish to buy. To continue your shopping, choose from the main categories, the one that contains the next item you are looking for and add it to your cart as well. When you have completed the process of adding products, press the “Go to checkout” button. In order to be able to order it is not necessary to be a member of the online store www.marti.gr, but we would advise you to become a member, as the whole process will be much easier in any future use of our online store. Fill in the form with the username and password you stated during your registration and select “LOGIN” in the membership area.

If you are not a member, press the create new account button and fill in an active e-mail account on the new member registration form. The e-mail that you will provide must exist because our communication will be done through the e-mail that you have stated during your registration. Even in case you do not become a member, you will be asked for personal information such as: invoicing and ordering address, e-mail, contact phone, information necessary for the conclusion and completion of the contract between the two parties.

Ordering process

The order is completed in 5 steps:

  • Identification (Ability to log in, register or continue as a guest)
  • Billing and shipping address
  • Select shipping method
  • Choice of payment method
  • Confirmation and submission of the order

In case of any pending issue in your order, we will contact you at the details you have provided us.

In case that you will not receive a relevant e-mail confirming your order or our notice by phone, it is your obligation to inform us without delay, as there may be a problem with the contact details you have provided. Our company does not bear any responsibility in case you have entered your contact details incorrectly, resulting in failure to communicate with you.

MISCELLANEOUS

  • Force majeure: If for reasons of force majeure (e.g. bad weather, strikes, etc.) it is not possible to deliver the products to you within the prescribed time we will inform you by phone or e-mail, in order to tell us if you wish, under these conditions, the completion of your order. Our company does not bear any responsibility for any situation that is beyond its own fault and will do everything humanly possible for your best service.
  • In cases where you have placed an online order and upon receipt you find that one or some products are missing from the total order, please contact us to arrange all the required details and we will send you the products you did not receive without any additional charge.
  • Modification of the present terms: Our company reserves the right to modify or renew the terms and conditions of transactions. However, it isour obligation to inform this text for any change or addition to the terms.
  • In case of non-receipt of the ordered products (and if a long time has passed since the submission of the order), please contact our company. For your best and fastest service, we would recommend you to quote the special order code that has been sent to the e-mail address that you provided during your order.

According to Directive 2013/11/EC, which was incorporated into Greek legislation with JM 70330/2015 and Decision 31619 Government Gazette 969 / 22.3.2017 (article 8), the possibility of electronic settlement of consumer disputes is provided with the Alternative Dispute Resolution procedure in the whole of the European Union. If the Customer has a problem with a purchase made from the Online Store and resides in the EU he can use the website https://webgate.ec.europa.eu/odr/main/?event=main.home.show for out-of-court settlement difference.
